Hemp seed oil comes from the seeds of the hemp plant, a genus of the cannabis family. Unlike its cousin Marijuana, hemp plants do not contain significant amounts of the psychoactive compound “THC” which is well known as the compound which is responsible for the “high” feeling from ingesting Marijuana. In Europe, Hemp plants must legally contain less than 0.2% THC. Hemp seeds do not naturally contain THC, CBD or any other cannabinoids, so if that’s a concern for you, then there is no need to worry! They’re simply a highly nutritious, and rather tasty superfood that could add significant benefits to your overall health and wellbeing.
